Distance learning is no longer the "future".

Schools are closing in DROVES and families nationwide are suddenly dealing with how we educate our children in isolation. Two nonprofits have teamed up to help -- Digital Wish has joined forces with Mobile Beacon to bring donated hotspots and $10/month unlimited internet service to schools. I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest internet in existence thanks to the negotiated cable subsidy! Our challenge now is to inform schools that the subsidized internet service is available so they can get access to donated hotspots and continue educating the nation's youth through remote learning.
You can help us spread the word. Here's how...
We all know teachers, students and schools that are impacted nationwide. Please share the following posts. It's OK to plagiarize...I promise!

Schools are closing nationwide due to COVID-19. www.digitalwish.org has hotspot donations and subsidized $10/month unlimited internet service. Schools can set up a hotspot lending pool to provide their most remote students with internet connectivity for distance learning during isolation.

Hurricane Dorian Relief
(This project is complete...It was a smashing success!)
7,652 Lbs of Donations, 40 Volunteers, One big truck!
A fleet of private seaplanes ferried supplies to the outer islands. Watch the WBOC-TV news story!
I was bored and it was a my birthday, September 2, when Hurricane Dorian flattened the Bahamas. It must have been a sign that it was time to get off that couch and do something. The images on the TV were gut-wrenching...just 3 days later Delmarva came out to play, WOW! The donation drive at Georgetown Airport was a smashing success. We packaged up 7,652 pounds of relief donations to help the most remote Hurricane Dorian survivors rebuild their lives. Loads of Delmarva residents came to donate and stayed all day to volunteer. Everyone got roped into sorting, packing, and weighing boxes! We all got nicknames and I was "Sunshine". It sure was fun doing all that hard work. The Georgetown Civil Air Patrol volunteered. DelTech donated an 18 wheeler, driver, and they paid for the gas to ship all the goods to Florida! The truck has left the runway. The donation drive is over, and a whole fleet of privately owned seaplanes ferried donations to the most remote island residents stranded in the Bahamas. Not bad for 3 days work. Better than the couch!

Special thanks to all the Organizations on the Front Lines!
An estimated 70,000 people lost their homes. Here are all the organizations that teamed up to help get donated goods out to the most remote islands.
SUN n' FUN - They staged goods in a 20,000' hangar in Lakeland, Florida and organized a fleet of privately owned seaplanes to ferry goods to the most remote islands.
Air Care Alliance and AERObridge coordinated private planes to aid in the effort together with government operations.
EVAC - The Emergency Volunteer Air Corps coordinated general aviation volunteer participation in the emergency relief efforts.
Georgetown Civil Air Patrol - They came out in force to volunteer, pack, weigh, and ship! I'm still sweating.
Delaware Technical Community College - They donated an 18-wheeler in less than an hour to take everything to Florida...phew!
